Return Policy

Returns are only accepted for items that are defective or not as described, unless otherwise specified on the product description page. All returns must be pre-authorized by a Power Quality Components (PQC) representative and be postmarked within 10 days of the original purchase date. All return items must be in original condition and packaging. All packaging materials, manuals, CD’s, digital media, warranty cards and other accessories and documents must be included. Return shipping fees are the buyer’s responsibility. All returns will be inspected and the reason for the return will be verified. Items found to be non-conforming to return requirements will be rejected. Otherwise, a direct replacement item will be shipped to the buyer at no additional cost. If we are unable to replace the item within the manufacturer’s standard process (may take 14 business days), the full purchase price of the item, excluding original shipping charges, will be refunded. Please feel free to call or email us with any questions prior to purchase.


Because warranties are specific to each item, please refer to the individual product’s condition/warranty information to determine warranty (see below). PQC does not express or imply any warranty for products beyond that which is provided by the manufacture, nor does it warrant any product against misapplication, improper specification, environmental or operating conditions beyond our control.

New with warranty – Customer must contact a PQC representative within the stated manufacture warranty period (from the date of purchase) as designated on the product specific page for an RMA. All items go through a technical warranty inspection before approval or denial of warranty claim is issued. Customer is responsible for return shipping.  

New Surplus – New Surplus items are brand new, unused items (sometimes without original packaging). They typically came from a surplus stock and do not include a manufacturer’s warranty.

Refurbished / Recondition – Refurbished / Recondition items have been fully tested by our technicians to ensure the item is functional. Since the items are not brand new, there is no manufacturer’s warranty on these items.

Typographical Errors

In the event that a product on PQC’s website is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, PQC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect prices, images or descriptions. PQC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, PQC will promptly issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Shipping Policy

Ground Shipping

Most Ground Shipping orders are shipped within 1 – 2 business days from the confirmation of your order. Shipping times will vary depending on the size of the package and the delivery location. Small and medium sized packages generally are delivered within 2 – 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) from their date of shipment.

Orders containing large parts or items that require special handling are usually shipped via Truck Freight (see Truck Freight information below) where delivery times usually range from 2 – 9 business days.

Overnight and 2-Day Shipping

Overnight and 2-day shipping are available for most small and medium sized packages for additional charges. Airfreight carriers reserve the right to extend delivery time by 24 hours when delivering to residential addresses. This is beyond our control and airfreight charges will NOT be refunded. All orders must be received before 2:00 PM Mountain Time (1:00 PM Pacific Time) Mondays to Fridays. No Overnight or 2-Day deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. If you place your order for Overnight or 2-Day delivery on a weekend or a holiday, please be aware that the shipping cycle for these orders starts on the next available business day.

Truck Freight

Truck freight applies to orders consisting of large parts or items that require special handling due to their shape, weight, or packaging. Orders with these characteristics are shipped via Truck Freight. Orders are usually processed for shipment within 1 – 2 business days from confirmation of your order. Delivery may take 2 – 9 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), within the continental United States. Truck Freight to Alaska and Hawaii may take up to 14 business days and may require additional charges. In the event that your order is subject to additional charges, we will contact you via e-mail with a revised shipping quote.

*Shipping Requirements and Exclusions

While we are happy to offer products to customers located in Alaska, Hawaii, and other areas outside the continental United States, additional shipping charges will apply to these locations and delivery times will likely be longer.

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from our website are made pursuant to our shipping terms, which are F.O.B. shipping point. This means that that risk of loss and title of any item is passed to you at the shipping point, which is when the carrier accepts the goods for transport.

Credit Card and Payment Processing

PQC is a division of Energy Management Corporation. As such, processing of credit cards and other payments will be done under and through the name of Energy Management Corporation.

Product Availability

Many of PQC’s products are available for sale through various merchants and marketplaces. All items offered by PQC are subject to prior sales.
